Who We Are
Our organization is just as it sounds, we are Military Moms; joined by our children serving this great country. Since this is a small community, most of us knew each other and we have connected in our support of each other at the departure of our family members. View an Article by Oswego County Today.
We represent every branch of the military; our children are serving in all different capacities and locations throughout the world. We are worried moms, we live for phone calls, face times and for hugs from our children and we could not be more proud. We have formed this group with intentions of educating, supporting and improving our community.
With support from local officials in Sandy Creek and Lacona, the local VFW, and community members we have been able to fundraise to successfully bring the Hometown Hero Banner Program to our local community.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day every year you can drive through the villages and see banners honoring current and former military members from our town.
